An Easier Way to Migrate to Cloud With Chrome POC Kits

Today’s businesses require flexibility and control. A concept that seems hard to obtain but in reality isn’t. By integrating devices into your endpoint strategy that are made specifically for the cloud and mobile workforces, you can provide a flexible environment for employees that still let’s IT have security and control.

PCM in partnership with Acer and Google developed an exclusive Proof of Concept (POC) Kit for enterprise customers.  The POC Kit allows you to test five Chrome Devices and Chrome Enterprise Management features for 30 days days for only $250. This includes PCM technical consulting and White Glove service to ensure a smooth experience. The POC Kit has a variety of form factors to meet simple or complex endpoint environments.  The POC Kit contains 2 Chromebooks, a Chromebox, a Chromebase, Chromebook Tablet and 5 Chrome Enterprise Licenses. PCM can also assist by providing a 30 day demo of G Suite to evaluate Gmail, Docs, Drive, and Calendar for your business.

According to Acer’s Sr. Director of U.S. Channel, Philip Burger, “Many commercial, healthcare and government customers are interested in Chrome, but may need professional guidance in evaluating and integrating these devices into their environments. When I learned that PCM was building a Chrome and G Suite Services Practice, it made sense to collaborate with Google’s Chrome Team to build a POC Kit.  This kit will help customers evaluate Acer Chrome Devices and Chrome Enterprise features, while bundling them with PCM’s services for a best in class experience. This demonstrates how three industry leaders can come together to provide customers a cost-effective way to help customers build and manage a cloud-centric and mobile world.”

Dan Schneider, VP & CTO of Speciality Services at PCM, states “At PCM, we are shifting to offering more technical and managed services to our customers.  We decided to incorporate Chrome OS into PCM’s managed services practice as we have seen customers wanting us to manage their Google domain whether G Suite or Chrome Enterprise.  Both solutions are cloud based so we are able to provide remote management for customers with great SLAs at a cost effective price point. In collaboration with Dan Kakish, Google Partner Manager, we worked closely with Google to enable our technical services team to be experts for both Chrome and G Suite.  We are proud that PCM now has over 40 employees that acquired a G Suite or Chrome speciality credential from Google and we plan to double that number by end of 2018. The POC Kit is a great way for customers to evaluate both Chrome OS Devices and PCM’s managed services practice for only $250.”
